Getting started
On first sign-in the app confirms a secure connection, then takes you to Login. Enter your work email and the passcode you were issued, and accept the Terms and Privacy notice.
First-time officers upload identity documents — a driving licence (front and back) is required; a business card is optional, and the app uses AI to extract your contact details and pre-fill them. A reviewer approves your identity in the admin console, and full access unlocks.
The dashboard
Your home screen shows everything at a glance:
- New Recce — starts the nine-step recce.
- Active recces — recces under way or recently submitted.
- Vehicle Composition shortcut — your saved vehicle line-ups.
- Stats, activity log, and a risk-distribution chart of your work.
A draft picks up on the step you left it on.
The side drawer holds Profile, Devices & equipment, Vehicle Compositions, All Recces, the theme toggle, secure logout, and account deletion.
Running a recce — the nine-step flow
New Recce opens a nine-step form with a progress counter. Every step auto-saves on Next; a manual Save Draft is available and drafts are auto-recovered if the app closes mid-flow.

Every recce follows the same nine steps, so any officer can pick up where another left off — and a reviewer always knows where to look.
Job overview
Job name, date and time, and the weather impact for the day. Personal details go into an encrypted Client Profile that opens only on your own handset. Hold the mic on any field to dictate instead of typing.

Location & mapping
Pin the venue on the map and the address and what3words code fill themselves in. From there you can run the area brief, the area risk overview, and a diff against your last recce of the same place.
Route planning
A primary and a secondary route. Draw them by hand, or let the auto-route generator work from your current position — useful when you are already standing at the drop-off.
Venue access points
Main and secondary entrances, drop-off and pick-up zones, and parking. Each carries photos you can annotate — draw, arrows, labels, blur — and they upload on their own.
Blurring happens on the device, before anything leaves it, which matters when a photo catches a face or a number plate.

Emergency & evacuation
Evacuation routes and assembly points, shelter locations, how the emergency services get in, the nearest medical facilities, and any hazards you can see.
Risks
Flag what you actually saw rather than what the template expects. Photos attach to the risk they belong to, and each risk carries through to the plan and the report.

Contingency plans
A written plan for every risk you flagged, drafted for you to edit rather than written from a blank page.
Vehicles
Assign one of your saved vehicle line-ups, or build one here and reuse it next time. Seats, medical kit and luggage are recorded per vehicle.

Review & submit
A quality score tells you what is thin before a reviewer ever sees it — so you can fix it while you are still on site rather than being sent back a day later.

Offline, the online-only AI features are greyed out with a connection banner. Voice notes save the on-device transcript and re-sync later; photo edits are fully offline and uploads queue and retry.

Submitting for review
After Submit, the recce moves to Submitted status. An admin reviews it and either Approves or Rejects with notes. Follow its status from Active recces or All Recces; once it is approved, export it as a PDF or as a PowerPoint brief for the team.
On the day — orders and STANDBY
Your team lead publishes the day's orders from the console. They arrive on your phone, and you acknowledge them in one tap.
When a scheduled movement is due, a STANDBY call opens on every phone on the day's roster. Acknowledge it and your team lead can see you are ready; a stand-down closes it for everyone.
Every order, call and acknowledgement is written to the daily log as it happens, so none of it has to be written up afterwards. At the end of the day, the officer your team lead nominates files the end-of-day report from the app.
