Getting started
On first sign-in the app confirms a secure connection, then takes you to Login. Enter your work email and the passcode you were issued, and accept the Terms and Privacy notice.
First-time officers upload identity documents — a driving licence (front and back) is required; a business card is optional, and the app uses AI to extract your contact details and pre-fill them. A reviewer approves your identity in the admin console, and full access unlocks.
The dashboard
Your home screen shows everything at a glance:
- New Recce — starts the nine-step recce.
- Active recces — recces under way or recently submitted.
- Vehicle Composition shortcut — your saved vehicle line-ups.
- Stats, activity log, and a risk-distribution chart of your work.
The side drawer holds Profile, Devices & equipment, Vehicle Compositions, All Recces, the theme toggle, secure logout, and account deletion.
Running a recce — the nine-step flow
New Recce opens a nine-step form with a progress counter. Every step auto-saves on Next; a manual Save Draft is available and drafts are auto-recovered if the app closes mid-flow.

Every recce follows the same nine steps, so any officer can pick up where another left off — and a reviewer always knows where to look.
Step 1 — Job overview
Job name, date and time; AI weather impact for event day; an encrypted Client Profile for personal details; and voice-note dictation on any field.
Step 2 — Location & mapping
Pin the venue on a map to auto-fill the address and what3words code, then run the AI Area Brief, Area risk overview, and Venue Changes diff against your last recce here.
Step 3 — Route planning
Primary and secondary routes with an Auto-Route generator from your live GPS.
Step 4 — Venue access points
Main and secondary entrances, drop-off and pick-up zones, and parking — each with photos you can annotate (draw, arrows, labels, blur), uploaded automatically.
Step 5 — Emergency & evacuation
Evacuation routes and assembly points, shelter locations, emergency-services access, nearby medical facilities, and hazards.
Steps 6–9
Flag the risks you found, generate AI contingency plans, assign your vehicle composition, then review every section and submit.

All AI runs on the backend — you just press the button. Most respond in seconds when online.

Offline, the online-only AI features are greyed out with a connection banner. Voice notes save the on-device transcript and re-sync later; photo edits are fully offline and uploads queue and retry.
Submitting & tracking
After Submit, the recce moves to Submitted status. An admin reviews it and either Approves or Rejects with notes. Track status from Active recces or All Recces — approved recces feed straight into the Live Ops module on event day.
